Very fit very active senior female, 68yrs, rhr below 60 and i walk briskly 5-9 miles a day but when jogging for a few minutes hr goes to 177. no symptoms of distress. to be concerned or not? can i jog? suggestions?

Hard to say: HR of 177 in a jogging, fit 68 year old is a bit high. I recommend getting a thorough cardiac workup. At best, you know your heart is in great shape. Conversely, you may find something you need to address.
