Can you take iron pills and prenatal pills at the same time? i am really anemic and i am also trying to conceive but i have pcos. will taking prenatal pills help me in anyway of conceiving a child?

Confusing post: If by pre-natal pills you mean prenatal vitamins, yes they can be taken along with iron. They really have no direct effect on conception but may help you be in better condition to carry a pregnancy once it happens. Balanced nutrition, good sleep habits, exercise & freedom from illness go a long way to help you.

Agree with Dr. F: You can take both prenatal vitamins and iron. You should establish a relation with an obstetrician who may advise you about conception as well as care during pregnancy. Wish you good health!
