Vomiting: Vomiting in a toddler is typically caused by a viral infection causing gastroenteritis. Make sure the toddler is getting enough hydration (500-600ml daily), and use electrolyte solutions instead of water. Irritability is common. If a toddler is lethargic (not moving, difficult to wake up) it may be a sign of something more serious and you will need to get emergency care.
