Lowers cholesterol: I haven't seen studies specifically on guacamole, but it's mostly avocado. Avocado (& the other ingredients in guacamole), like all fruits & veggies, has no cholesterol, but it is rich in fats, primarily monounsaturated fats. Several studies have shown avocado significantly lowers total cholesterol levels & more specifically lowers "bad" ldl, while, according to some studies, raising "good" hdl.
