I have chronic gerd, copd, and a host of other silent reflux symptoms. i'm having a fundoplasty in the next couple of months. the most bothersome current problem is sore throat & constant ear pressure/pain. suggestions for relief until surgery?

PPI: A proton pump inhibitor and reducing caffeine and spices are recommended. Add a probiotic daily and please see your PCP.
