My toddler has a bite mark on his arm that shows a faint bullseye pattern. he has no other symptoms. it's not bothering him and we didn't see or hear it happen. it just appeared. need we be concerned?

Maybe: This is a USA based site as are most of its docs. This pattern might be a sign of a tick bite transmitting a variety of infectious germs that slowly move into the body & can have long term consequences. I am not aware of what tick born germs exist in South Africa but in parts of the US it is a problem. I would contact your local doc to see if there is a local risk.
