I had a headache for 3 days and mild nausea but no longer have any of these symptoms. do i still need to be tested for covid-19?

Yes, get tested: It is important that exactly people like you get tested, so that we can learn of people with just "minor symptoms " like yours may actually have a mild case of Covid19. It also let's you know whether you need to keep a full quarantine. You are absolutely correct that it may be nothing, but combine the fact you were exposed with mild symptoms-that equals get tested!

COVID 19: Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these sx’s: temp of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell. In South Africa, a medical provider evals to decide if COVID 19 testing is indicated. Contact your own medical provider or get telemedicine consult from an on-line provider.
