Ive been in contact with a covid positive person 7days ago i have a sore throat, nausea and headache work send me home as high risk should i get tested?

Yes: For different reasons. First you had a contact and have symptoms consistent with the infection and knowing will help you treat it properly. Second a work release can be issued in clear terms as to having or not having the infection. Self quarantine will be needed otherwise regardless. Best to coordinate will be through your primary care doc’ s office.
