Asthma and covid: Yes he has close contact and he is considered high risk. It’s been 7 days I would get the test done. Keep him in isolation and well protected.

Get tested..: He definitely needs to get tested for COVID-19 but if he is having increased shortness of breath, he should seek emergency treatment. If he is positive for COVID-19, he may be a candidate for anti-viral treatment. If he is having worsening asthma, he can be treated for that whether or not he has COVID. Best of luck to you!
