I have a abscess in my nose , i was prescribed batrim oral and mupirocin topical. i dont know if i am allergic to sulfa drugs and im very scared to take it and have a bad reaction. how can i check if i am allergic without ingesting it ? or other dr?

Sulfa allergy: There is no way to check if you are allergic. Sulfa drugs are used a lot and the number of allergic reactions are small. If you are concerned, just use the Mupirocin.
