I have had a sore throat on and off for 8/9 days - i have tried andolex throat spray as well as strepsils but it doesnt seem to help - i was wonder whether i could get an anti-biotic to treat it ?

Examination: If sore throat caused by virus an antibiotic will not cure. You've tried treating yourself and that didn't work.
