HPV ?'s: Human papilloma virus is very contagious, and can be passed via genital contact via mucus membranes even if a condom is used. A positive IgM test for HPV measures virus in acute stage, and can be relied upon to determine Herpes I/II. IgG would confirm Herpes I/II if infection predated the most recent experience, and if IgM is positive, IgG does not need to be done.
