Starting with: frankly, a country doctor. You'd want a general overview to see where to start. the location and movement of a pain gives clues as to what is going on and with weakness it is a nerve, and therefore most commonly lumbar disk. There are specific physical findings to localize the problem. and.. with weakness, it is a serious disorder perhaps even requiring emergency attention.
