Hi, i tested positive for covid on 18 december, and retested on 28 december and still tested positive. i have had mild symptoms only, and havent had any symptoms the past few days. when is it safe to come into contact with my children again?

Covid dates: Your first date will be when you were exposed, had symptoms or tested positive. It would be a minimum of 10+ days as long as symptoms were improving. However with you still testing positive to nasal swab means you can still transmit - so be very cautious.

14 days: If you are symptom free, 14 days minimum in isolation. Repeat the test at day 15 and if negative, you may see your children, using a mask. A PCR test may remain positive after resolution for weeks.
