Breathing tube TMD: The breathing tube should be no problem but let the surgery team know you have a history of TMJ issues. They should take special care during intubation not to over manipulate mandible during tube placement.

Not usually: Sinus surgery of this type is fairly routine and is a shorter procedure. Catheterization would be a rare requirement. Tmj issues should not be noticed due to routine intubation.

No and no: No urine catheter require and a breathing tube or a laryngeal mask airway will not affect tmj.

See below: Surgery of this type usually does not require a catheter. Tmj issues should be discussed with your anesthesiologist so that they can avoid making this condition worse.

No need : For a urine catheter for a short surgery. Your TMJ shouldn't be a problem as long as your anesthesiologist can safely manage your airway. A quick exam should give him the information he needs and allow him time to gather whatever tools he needs to keep you safe.

Anesthesiologist: DON"T tell the surgeon you have a TMJ problem. TELL THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST DIRECTLY!! He will have to take special care during the intubation to prevent over opening of your mouth.
