Not straightforwards: Best to have psychiatric evaluation first. If emotional issues cannot be controlled with simple measures and you cannot be productive, there may be rationale for disability, but a lot depends on language within the disability policy. Social security is not an option, as a basic eligibility status is 1year or longer.

DISABILITY: If you are referring to a short term leave from work you need to contact HR to request leave. You will need to see a Clinical Psychologist or Psychiatrist to document your illness.
