Professional Help: I see the word "severe". If that is the case, recommend that you seek out professional help. You can start by seeing your physician who can evaluate for possible physiologic problems. A comprehensive psychological assessment by either a doctoral level clinical psychologist or a psychiatrist can pin point the problem so that a treatment plan can be developed. Active suicide thoughts = er.
