Cellulitis?: Difficult to diagnose without seeing the site. If the redness from any insect bite spreads, it may be due to a skin infection called cellulitis. Other symptoms to watch for: the site feels warmer than the skin around it, the redness spreads outward, the area is swollen. Talk to a Dr in person for an evaluation and diagnosis as well as treatment
