I have already had my heart checked out. woke up during night feeling lightheaded and like i was about to pass out. my heart felt like it was beating less strongly. could it be dehydration? sleep apnea?

Check it out: It would be helpful to know what was done to check your heart. Did you have blood testing and a cardiac monitor of some sort, besides an EKG? Would need to Consider things like electrolyte imbalances, thyroid and more. Sounds like more needs to be done.

Instead: Instead of playing the "what if" game, call the Physician that "checked out" your heart and report your symptoms. Symptoms could be caused by anxiety, apnea, dehydration, nightmare, caffeine, late night snack, and so m any other possibilities.
