A member asked:

I'm lightheaded all the time, but after every night that i take nitrazepam, the lightheadedness subsides the next day. it returns again the day after when the effects have worn off. heart/blood tests/brain mri are normal. is bad sleep the cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A good night sleep helps a lot, however you may want to be careful with nitrazepam because of dependence and addiction potential. Lightheadedness may have to do also with importance of adequate fluid intake but may be related to heart functioning to adequately perfuse the brain. Anxiety disorder may also be something you consider so it could be resolved.
