Protein in the urine: A small amount of protein can be the beginning of a concerning kidney issue or a temporary issue associated with running or walking before the test or fever or infections . Speak to your doctor

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, protein in urine could be due to contamination of urine with vaginal fluid, but you should talk to your doctor about it. clean catch info: https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/007487.htm
