Could be: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, 3+ protein in urine warrants consultation with a nephrologist. Wish you good health!

Urinary protein/24hrs ranges from 130-140mg across several tests. Confused because ref. range says anything <150 ok, but info online says almost ANY amount of protein in urine is abnormal. Which is correct? Is my level suggestive of a kidney problem?

I have done a 24 hr urine test. And came back normal. (Previously high protein). On the contrary my left kidney is still shrinking from 12/2020 at 10.9 to 02/2022 at 8.8 with the left being 12/2020 11.9 to 02/2022 at 11.1. Should this be concerning?
