Hi i am a 43 year old male. my gout episodes were occasional and not severe however a few weeks ago i injured my foot and the gout pain (i assume) on the inside of my right foot has become unbearable at times. whats the best plan of treatment?

Simple or intense tx: Treatments vary, I assume you were diagnosed by a health care professional, if not then nsaids(ibuprofen, aspirin or naprosyn) and a lot of fluids until you can be seen. Elevation may help but otherwise you need to be examined by a professional.
