UTI prevention: The rising frequency of UTI after menopauseis partly a result of low estrogen levels. Replacing vaginal estrogen often helps, and Vagifem is one product that may be effective. It's not 100% effective, but frequently helps a lot. If your doctor has prescribed it for that reason, give it a try. It also may help with sexual functioning, if you're still sexually active. Good luck.
