I know it sucks, but: As unpleasant as this may be to you, you need to spend the next 10-14 days in isolation. You also need to get tested ASAP, especially since recently having health problems of your own. I know you feel you have urgent dental appt., but it would not be kind to infect your dentist right before the holidays. It also would be awful to infect your mother. You have to think of everyone else here,first.
