Constipation: Please make sure the baby is well hydrated. If this persists see his/her pediatrician for assessment and plan of care.

Dietary changes: He's old enough to start doing some dietary changes to improve his stools. Start feeding him oatmeal (real people oatmeal) for breakfast DAILY! Sprinkle a tiny amount of fine brandy fiber on other solids he is starting to eat. Begin giving 4-6 ounces of apple/prune juice daily for their laxative and stool softener effects.Do not dilute the juices. Juices are for medicinal purposes, not nutritional
