We have her gas drops .. and now she seems to be straining to poop.... could they have cause constipation ? she is 4 weeks old

Normal: A 4 wk old uses his/her diaphragm to push along poop and many equate this with straining in older kids or adults, it is not. They have very loose abdominal muscles & poop laying down on their back. They don't have gravity or muscles assisting them. Infants make a great number of odd sounds & facial expressions every that mean nothing. Ignore this,it's normal.
