Probably: You baby may not be getting enough to drink. When you have weaned the baby should be getting about 2 ounces per pound. Breast fed poop is loose and mushy, bottle fed poop is more formed. If the baby is constipated, give extra water but make sure there is enough formula going in.

Change pattern: Weaning from breast milk to formula can result in a change in consistency of the stool. If your baby has not had a bowel movement in a few days, I would advise a visit with your pediatrician. The baby's mouth and eyes should be moist.
