My wife really wants to have the covid vaccine as she is a nurse, and at risk. however she carries an epi pen due to a latex allergy and banana and avocado. what is it best for her to do, as she is also at risk being a nurse?

She should be fine: The two vaccines approved thus far are latex free, so that's not a problem. There is no problem with banana or avocado either. She would be very wise to get vaccine. If would make her feel better, get it at doctor office and hang there for 1-2 hours after to make sure no anaphylactic reaction. She is at much higher risk from the Covid19 than possibility of any reaction. Get vaccine!
