Ovulation symptoms ?: Ovulation pain, with frankly "bloody" discharge may be due to adenomyosis, a condition where invasion of the smooth muscle of the uterus by endometrial cells exaggerates normal symptoms of estrogen withdrawal during ovulation. Ask your gyn physician about low dose oral bcp's, as this will stop ovulation and control the symptoms experienced during menstruation also.
