Dactylitis: Dactylitis of fingers/toes is a swelling that encompasses the entire digit (as opposed to arthritis in which the swelling is just the joints). Causes include: Sickle Cell Disease, Tuberculosis, Sarcoidosis, Syphilis, Spondyloarthritis and Infections. Talk to a Dr about getting a thorough history and examination, along with imaging and lab tests to determine your cause and treatment.
