Hi, i bumped my small toe 3-4 weeks ago, it was discolored for a week or so it is however still swollen especially if i was on my feet for a long time, and it is then painfull. is it necessary to go and have it checked out?

Possible fracture : Without an x-ray you could’ve fractured the digit. Since you’ve waited this long waiting longer is OK it should start to feel better within 6 to 7 weeks if it was fractured with the swelling going down. You can go get an x-ray on the digit if you wish to find out if you fractured it or not and if it’s in good alignment. However at this late stage watching it would still be considered
