Do i have a bone bruise? i had the top of my foot crushed in a soccer game: 2 weeks later, top is still swollen and bone has a bump. x-rays negative.

Ortho: If there is a bump that wasn't there before, there may have been a subtle fracture that didn't show on the initial films. When bone heals, it forms a bump called a callus. Might see orthopedics and have additional imaging studies as recommended
