Not Possible: Naegleria Fowleri infect persons in the adult stage (ameba) by traveling up the nose in warm fresh water. It will not be infectious in cold water, nor at the cyst stage. It cannot be transmitted from person to person. Once inside a persons brain, the ameba reproduces and creates cysts which causes damage (meningoencephalitis)
