Normal: Newborns commonly feed at 2-3 hour intervals. A little spitting up after feeds can be minimized by slowing the rate at which you feed him. Feed one ounce, then stop and holding him upright put him over your shoulder and burp him well. repeat this until finishesd. Keep him upright after feeding for at least 30 minutes to prevent vomiting or large spit ups. Your Dr may suggest changing formula.
