Bladder pain ?'s: Pain with urination is usually a reliable sign of infection. Chronic urethritis may also give rise to pain, and over time can contribute to what is called an "overactive bladder". First obtain a urine culture and treatment if positive, and if sympoms recur , see a gyn or urologist for prophylactic treatment.

Interstitial c'itis: Interstitial cystitis classically presents with symptoms of overactive bladder plus discomfort at end of or after urinating. Presume that UTI has been ruled out, although IC can also be associated with UTIs. Do symptoms increase after consuming acidic beverages or fruit, or fatty fried foods?
