Prescriptions: You'll need to take your medications as prescribed. If you seem to have side effects that are of concern to you, please discuss with your physician. It may be that you body needs time to adjust to the new medication or that the dose needs to be altered. Your physician knows you and your health history best.

Continuous dosing: Adderall taken by a person with ADD is actually a downer, causing them to feel less frantic and out of control. The medication takes up to a week to achieve therapeutic levels, and can lead to some fatigue at the beginning which stabilizes after a few weeks. Stopping the medication returns the Patient to step zero. You should take it and not stop until your therapist recommends stopping.
