Cool compress: The fluid under the skin may track and spread. Apply a cool compress to the area and if the baby is in pain, has a fever or discoloration of the leg, please see your Pediatrician right away. Watch for signs of infection, pus, redness and swelling. Continue to feed the baby as usual, and schedule a visit with your pediatrician for post hospital care.
