A member asked:

I was taking a multivitamin for six months that had iron in it, i stop recently, will anything happen to me, because my blood is good?

Not likely: If you are deficient in iron missing your supplement for a few weeks shouldn't cause a problem. If you are not iron deficient you don't need a vitamin with iron because a normal diet will provide enough iron to remain healthy.

No: Nothing bad will happen to you by stopping multivitamins. That is because, unless you have a specific proven deficiency, nothing good will happen to you when you take multivitamins. Save your money and buy a gym membership. Unlike multivitamins, exercise has a proven medical benefit for you.
