It's possible.: Which COVID Ab was positive, IgG or IgM? IgM is the acute-phase antibody which is positive very early following SARS CoV-2 exposure and remains positive for only a few days. IgG follows over the next week or so and remains positive for weeks or months; it is deemed protective. The virus can affect any organ in the body, including the liver; the ALT is a liver function test; it merits repeating

Could: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, any viral infection can raise ALT. No alcohol, no Tylenol and retest in 3-4 months. Wish you good health!
