Inguinal hernia ?'s: Surgical correction of an inguinal hernia may injure nerves mediating sensation to the testicle on the side of the surgery, but usually does not affect penile sensation. Ask your surgeon about details of the hernia repair, and ask for a urology referral if your questions are not addressed to your satisfaction.
