My wife has been prescribed kantrexil but neglected to inform the dr that she is allergic to quinolone. can she continue the course safely?

Kantrexil : Kantrexil does not contain any of the quinolone antibiotics. The active component is kanamycin. If your wife does not have an allergy to aminoglycosides, i.e.( gentamicin, tobramycin) I would not expect her to have a problem. However, for the future, she should have the quinolone allergy added to her medical records.
