Yes, ...: Cefpodoxime is a third-generation cephlosporin, working well for uncomplicated UTI and gonorrhea; so, most likely, it will work well for you, but it is nice to know the selection of antibiotics for epididymo-orchitis is based on experience and assumption if no genito-urinary bacteria could be identified from urine or urethral specimen. So, take it and see. If not working as expected, reassessed.
