See specialist: Chronic achilles injuries are difficult to treat. I assume you have had physical therapy and have good supportive orthotics. Mri can evaluate condition and determine whether you may need surgery. New methods include radio frequency ablation, shock wave therapy and prp injections. Good luck!

Heel lifts: Physical therapy would be beneficial as well.
