Retinoid ?'s: Differin Gel is a retinoid , and b/c retinoid medications are associated with some birth defects, although no conclusive studies have been done with "Differin Gel" in particular, it should be avoided to remove the chance of associated birth defects. Ask your OB physician about alternatives.
