Hubby tested neg yesterday (day 14 after symptom onset) for covid, but i had a sudden very sore throat this afternoon, and have body aches and chills. his throat is still sore + has cough + fatigue. he still has his tonsils, i dont. ?

Maybe COVID19 : Can’t be sure without a nose or throat test, but sure sounds like coronavirus. Cannot give specific advice on this site but self-quarantine for 10 days after you BEGIN to feel better. Call doctor if severe cough, shortness of breath or confusion. Fluids, acetaminophen will help. Tonsils +/- don’t make a difference

Symptoms: Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher with at least 2 of these sx’s: temp of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.
