Basics: Shingles differ significantly from chickenpox in their nature. Instead of being very contagious through airborne droplet/cough/etc. the only material of concern is what weeps from skin wounds. If no one else comes in contact with that material they cannot get shingles or chickenpox from you. Cover any healing wound & you are fine to return.

Herpes zoster oticus: Do not have contagion concerns and am pleased to see that you have obtained excellent diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. It is indeed fine for you to return to work, but do inform your co-workers that you did not have COVID-19 (Contain fearful suspicions, as these days, people are highly anxious!)
