A member asked:

Is it possible for bladder abnormalities/damage to be missed or not show up on an mri?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Limits of studies: Any test has limits. An MRI of the area is a way to look at the structure(s) within & around the bladder. It does not tell you how it works. It does not tell you whether the tissue looks raw or not as would an endoscopic bladder evaluation. Your post is not clear as to what your concerns are. I would discuss these limits with your doc who has access to the test.
