A member asked:

Will adding effexor to already prescribed combo of strattera and wellbutrin help manage inattentive adhd and maladaptive daydreaming? i've already been on wellbutrin and strattera for 6+ months now with no noticeable difference?

NO DO NOT THINK SO: Have to be cautious adding Effexor to Strattera. Effexor is an antidepressant and will not really help with ADHD. You need to discuss further with your treating doctor many need another opinion.

Other options: Strattera, Wellbutrin, Effexor works through same mechanism, therefore, combination of them is unlikely to produce better result. Other option to consider will be a trial of stimulant such as methylphenidate or dextroamphetamine since you have not experienced a benefit from non stimulant treatment.
