A member asked:

Dentists: in situations where bone grafting/augmenting doesn't restore defects to 100% status quo, is it possible in theory to continue grafting on previous grafts until the previous normal level is reached, assuming the money and time are there?

Depends: Depends upon original problem and materials used. Some may be added to depending upon material. Check with the dentist who did original graft.

It might be possible: It is possible to improve a site that has previously been grafted for an implant by doing a second graft. However, careful consideration must be given as to why the first graft was not successful to an optimal level to ensure that the second (or third) procedure will have the best possible outcome.
